Lakeshore Colony Master Association Inc was formed almost 40 years ago. The internet did not exist, and therefore our governing documents did not include the concept of electronic management, regular business communications or electronic voting in our elections.
And our community is aging - almost 4 decades of decay and normal wear and tear exists. These facts are not disputable.
However, just because that has been the practice of doing things, should we continue operating in an archaic manner? Answer, yes for many things, and no for some things.
Electronic Voting in Florida HOA is legal and there are state statues that guide us.
There are qualified companies that can handle these matters for us, and the cost is very reasonable.
Do you agree that this would be good for Lakeshore Colony Master Association Inc?
We certainly do think it would be a major improvement.
Keep in mind: Unit owners can still vote in person or by proxy in the old fashion way too...So everyone still can participate.
